Feedback from existing businesses

"The Conscious Consumers project has provided us with a direct link to our target market of conscious cafes. We provide a niche service of food waste  collection so it is important for us to be specific in our marketing. In the first month of being a part of Conscious Consumers, we picked up three new clients - helping them to divert over 400 litres of organic waste from landfill each week. It is amazing to be part of such an exciting movement that empowers both cafes and consumers to enable positive change." Steve Rickerby - GreenWork Limited - 'We Compost'

"Being part of Conscious Consumers brings us many advertising opportunities, such as the Carrot Mob and the website, and has as put us directly in touch with cafe goers who share our values.  Our cafe has been on the progressive peoples list of places to visit ever since we joined." Matt Graylee - Memphis Belle Coffee House

"The programme gives our customers a clear, visual confirmation of our efforts towards operating as a sustainable cafe and offers strong credibility as a sustainable business.  With the programme’s information and advertising, our customers can “buy-in” to the process and have access to an ‘easy to understand’ model.  The programme is run by an enthusiastic and very passionate group and we highly recommend any cafe becoming involved; if you’re wanting to grow your business and be a part of something unique." Stephanie Fry - Celcius Cafe
